XBRL can be quite heavy to get into, yet it’s also an absurdly simple concept. We remind you that there are players from many different interest groups involved in the process, and as a result if you’re a preparer of financials you won’t need to know the technical requirements for setting up an ERP system, and conversely if you are filing XBRL you wan’t want to get into debates about accounting terminology. So its probably best that you follow a stream more suited to you.
